Job summary

Leidos Energy is seeking a Power Consultant Senior Project Manager - Transaction Services to drive critical energy transactions, including development, financing, acquisition, and sale of power assets. You will identify technical and commercial risks and help clients choose optimal solutions in a dynamic market.

We offer a hybrid work schedule; remote options are possible for qualified candidates, with preferred proximity to Denver, CO or Framingham, MA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline from an accredited university.
12+ years of experience in independent engineering assignments and related business functions.
Experience in energy consulting and evaluation of distributed generation, CHPP, utility consulting, and various power technologies.
Willingness to travel up to 10–15%.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with project developers, utilities, equipment manufacturers, engineering firms, investors, bankers, and advisors.
Determine, monitor, and review project economics including costs, budgets, staffing, subcontractors, resources, and risk.
Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on project activities.
Lead project teams based on client requirements and objectives.
Facilitate status reviews among team members and clients.
Support proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules with senior management.
Manage project requirements, scope, and change issues.
Coach cross-functional team members to meet schedules and resolve issues.
