Job summary

Leidos Energy seeks a Power Consultant Senior Project Manager - Transaction Services to drive financial transactions for generation assets and power projects. You will evaluate project economics, plan and lead cross-functional teams, and collaborate with developers, utilities, investors, and lenders.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in engineering consulting or related business functions, with energy experience across solar, wind, storage, and CHP, plus strong technical writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline with 12+ years in engineering assignments or related business functions.
• Senior Level requires 12+ years in independent engineering assignments and related business functions.
• Subject Matter Expert Level requires 15+ years in independent engineering assignments and related business functions.
• Experience in energy consulting and evaluation of various power generation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate regularly with project developers, utilities, equipment manufacturers, engineering firms, investors, bankers, and legal and financial advisors.
• Determine, monitor, and review all project economics including costs, budgets, staffing, sub-contractors, resources, and risk.
• Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to the project.
• Lead project teams based on client requirements and objectives.
• Facilitate status review meetings among project team members and clients.
• Work with senior management on proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules.
• Manage project requirements, scope, and change issues.
• Coach and counsel cross-functional teams to achieve goals and meet schedules.
