Job summary

TE Connectivity in Middletown, NJ is seeking a STAFF Power Integrity R&D/Product DVL Engineer to advance high-speed power delivery for data center systems. You will design, simulate, and validate PI/PI solutions, working with a multidisciplinary team to meet stringent performance targets.

The role requires 10+ years in EE and 5+ years in power conversion, proficiency with Spice/Allegro/PowerDC/Ansys Q3D, and willingness to travel about 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
• 10 years EE experience and 5+ years in power conversion/distribution.
• Experience with Spice, Allegro, PowerDC and Ansys Q3D.
• Knowledge of voltage converter architectures.
• Familiar with HV and 3-phase electrical systems is a plus.
• Able to use lab equipment like network analyzers and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Design, validate, and characterize power conversion and delivery systems for large compute infrastructure.
• Develop power distribution products such as cables, connectors, and bus bars for 800+V, 20+kA servers.
• Create simulation models and plan/execute simulation suites.
• Correlate simulation results with measured lab data to validate models.
• Work with vendors to specify, procure, and validate new designs.
• Measure AC response, parasitics, and impedance of power products.
• Identify and resolve electrical issues via hands-on testing and root cause analysis.
• Prepare detailed documentation and reports to support development and validation.
• Drive high-value development projects and lead interfaces with large groups.
• Manage technical collaboration with customers and align with internal requirements.
