Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Power Integrity Engineer to lead power integrity design and testing for advanced data center solutions. You will simulate, validate, and deploy power delivery systems, working with a multidisciplinary team to meet strict performance targets.

You will engage with customers and vendors, translating complex requirements into concrete designs while traveling up to 25% of the time. A strong PI/SI background and lab skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 10 years electrical engineering experience with 5+ years in power conversion and distribution.
• Experience using electrical design tools and software such as Spice, Allegro, PowerDC, Ansys Q3D.

Responsibilities

• Design, validate, and characterize power conversion and delivery systems for large compute infrastructure.
• Develop power distribution products, such as cables, connectors, and bus bars, for 800+V, 20+kA server racks and data center applications.
• Create simulation models and plan/execute simulation suites.
• Correlate simulation results with lab measurements to validate models.
• Work with vendors to specify, procure, and validate new designs.
• Measure AC response, parasitics, and impedance of power products.
• Identify and resolve electrical issues via hands-on testing and root cause analysis.
• Prepare detailed documentation and reports to support development and validation.
• Drive high-value projects and interface with large teams; collaborate with customers.
