Job summary

Celestica seeks a Staff Engineer, Power Integrity to develop and validate advanced electrical systems. You will research ideas, draft schematics and specs, and support manufacturing with robust power delivery designs.

You will lead simulations, testing, and analyses across boards, packages, and VRs, collaborating with design, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven technical understanding of power supply architectures, VR technologies, and PDN modeling.
• Experience with 3D/2D EM simulation tools and transmission line theory.
• Familiar with LTSPICE, HSPICE, Spectre, AMS, and Simplis models for system-level transient analysis.
• MS with 7+ years or PhD with 5+ years in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Perform target impedance analysis, transient voltage droop, phase margin, and stability analysis.
• Define PDN architecture and design solutions for boards and systems.
• Lead power delivery modeling, simulation, and characterization for interposers, packages, PCBs, and VRs.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design end-to-end power delivery systems.
• Provide guidelines for implementation and feedback to PCB, package, system design teams.
• Lead hardware correlation on component, board and system levels.
• Develop test suites for system-level validation of power domain design margin.
• Provide power integrity support through the design process.
• Drive process and quality improvements.
