Qualifications

• 10+ years of project or program management.
• Insurance or financial services project delivery experience, aligned to product lifecycle, portals, or policy systems.
• Working knowledge of financial services regulation and its impact on scope.
• Proven ability to take over in-flight or troubled projects and turnaround.
• Executive presence with data-driven communication to leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with waterfall, agile, or hybrid delivery; choose approach per project.
• Ability to discuss APIs, integrations, data, and ML concepts with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from start to close: intake, planning, delivery, launch and results.
• Set clear commitments with named owners and dates; enforce them.
• Lead steering committees, weekly status updates, and risk reviews.
• Track scope, schedule, and budget against baseline; use EV or equivalent measures.
• Translate marketing/ops requests into clear requirements with BAs and systems analysts.
• Lead a team of ~15 engineers, developers, BAs, and analysts, plus an offshore partner.
• Implement project standards established by technology leadership in daily practice.
• Identify compliance impacts early; collaborate with compliance and business to address them.
