Job summary

Pulsar Informatics, Inc. is seeking a senior platform engineer to design and evolve scalable backend systems for high-volume time-series data and ML workflows.

You will own architecture for data ingestion, processing, storage, analytics, and third-party algorithm integration, collaborating with engineers, data scientists, product leaders, and customers to deliver durable platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Production platforms or distributed systems at real scale.
• Strong Go and API integration skills.
• Experience with big-data streaming or batch processing.
• Ability to own architecture and drive initiatives end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Evolve storage and compute architecture for high-volume time-series data.
• Build a platform for third-party algorithms with secure execution environments.
• Create developer-friendly APIs, SDKs, docs, and reference implementations.
• Develop reusable abstractions to reduce platform complexity for teams.
• Lead architectural decisions from discovery through production.
• Advance AI-enabled engineering and collaborate with users and partners.
