Job summary

Talution Group is seeking a Senior Analyst on the People Insights & Engineering (PIE) team to enhance data infrastructure, BI, and reporting for people analytics. This hands‑on role focuses on execution, analytics, and governance under the PIE technical lead.

You will build and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports, working with BigQuery, dbt, and Looker/Tableau/Power BI to deliver scalable solutions across HR domains including talent, operations, and development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HR, People Analytics, or workforce analytics reporting in a fast-growing or complex organization.
• Strong SQL skills for reporting, data manipulation, analysis, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with a cloud-based data warehouse; BigQuery experience preferred.
• Experience with dbt or a comparable data transformation and modeling framework preferred.
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git/GitHub.
• Proficiency with BI and dashboarding platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI; LookML experience is a plus.
• Experience using Python or R for data analysis, automation, or visualization preferred.
• Familiarity with modern LLM and AI-assisted development tools as productivity/resource preferred.
• Experience working with disparate data sources and datasets of varying quality and structure.
• Working knowledge of data privacy, governance, and security best practices for employee and people data.
• Working knowledge of core HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Talent Development, and related processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a technical and cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver recurring reporting across multiple data sources, identifying trends and insights.
• Build canonical people data tables using BigQuery and dbt to support governed analytics.
• Support data warehouse and data-modeling initiatives, including backfill strategy and data-quality controls.
• Migrate and enhance governed dashboards as part of a BI tooling migration.
• Manage extraction and processing of market and compensation benchmark data from external sources (Radford, Mercer).
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions are accurate, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of people analytics data infrastructure, reporting processes, and analytical workflows.
