Trident Systems Inc. seeks an experienced Senior PCB Designer to lead complex space-borne PCB layouts using Altium Designer, focusing on high-density, high-power, and high-speed circuits.

You will develop DDR4/DDR5 interfaces, RF paths, and signal integrity strategies while collaborating across engineering and manufacturing teams. The role supports DoD and intelligence-space programs, requires rigorous design discipline, and offers a remote work option with detailed fabrication documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years related experience OR 4+ years with a graduate degree
• Professional PCB design experience in a production environment
• Expert-level proficiency with Altium Designer as primary PCB CAD tool

Responsabilités

• Translate electrical schematics and requirements into compact, high-density PCB layouts for space environments
• Create and maintain PCB footprints, symbols, and libraries in Altium Designer
• Perform stack-up definition and impedance control for high-speed differential pairs and DDR4/DDR5
• Develop routing strategies for high-speed links and RF paths with length matching and via strategies
• Optimize layouts for thermal performance and current handling in high-power designs
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and program teams for optimal design balance
• Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with SI, PI, RF, and regulatory requirements
• Generate fabrication/assembly documentation from Altium Designer
• Work in configuration-controlled environments with proper documentation and revision control
• Support prototype builds, debugging, and iterative layout improvements
