Job summary

The Wilshire Group is seeking an experienced Patient Access Implementation Manager to lead large-scale Epic-based transformations, focusing on Prelude, Cadence, and Referrals. The role requires coordinating IT, clinical, operational teams and ensuring successful go-lives while aligning with governance structures.

Remote work with ~25% travel, ASAP start, and hourly compensation in a contracted engagement through May/June 2027.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting Epic Prelude, Cadence, and Referrals implementations.
• Current or relevant Epic certifications in applicable modules.
• Strong healthcare IT project management and implementation experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Patient Access, registration, scheduling, and referral workflows.
• Experience supporting Epic go-lives and post-implementation stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Lead Epic Prelude, Cadence, and Referrals implementations and related workstreams.
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across IT, clinical, operational, and Patient Access stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication and alignment among cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify project risks and barriers and develop solutions with stakeholders.
• Support implementation readiness, go-live planning, command center activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Ensure activities align with governance and CoE priorities.
• Support enterprise registration, scheduling, and referral initiatives as needed.
• Provide clear project updates and elevate risks and decisions as appropriate.
