Job summary

Kin Insurance, Inc. seeks a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to turn product decisions into implementation-ready requirements across Insurance Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Operations, Engineering, and Tech Product.

This role sits in the Project Management Organization and will own the requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, and coverage changes. You’ll translate business decisions into clear specifications, gather inputs from

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a BA/SA role, incl. 3+ years in P&C insurance.
• Translate insurance product concepts into structured requirements for Engineering and Tech Product.
• Experience in Agile delivery, including requirements clarification, UAT, and implementation validation.
• Proven ability to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders into clearly documented decisions.
• Knowledge of policy administration systems and how rating, forms, and eligibility are configured is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own the requirements lifecycle from discovery through handoff to Engineering.
• Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, business review, and beta-validation for releases.
• Translate business decisions into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Insurance Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Operations, Tech Product, and Engineering.
