Job summary

STC Health, a division of Harris, seeks a Senior Manager, Operations to lead DevOps, Platform, and IT across legacy and modern platforms for IIS clients nationwide. You will own the operating model, staffing, and cost controls, partnering with VP on contract negotiations and pricing.

This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in the US. You will drive remediation, platform transition, and cost optimization while ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or IT leadership.
• 3+ years directly managing technical teams.
• Experience modernizing or remediating legacy infrastructure in live production.
• Experience designing or standing up a new operations model for a platform.
• Comfort operating two systems during a transition.
• Demonstrated vendor/tooling contract management and negotiation experience.
• Experience providing cost input for pricing and deal structuring.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee DevOps, Platform, and IT teams with hiring and career development.
• Own daily operations across infrastructure, platform reliability, internal IT services, and DevOps practices.
• Establish and report on uptime, MTTR, ticket SLAs, change failure rate, and environment costs.
• Drive tooling decisions and processes to reduce risk and improve efficiency while meeting compliance requirements.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure the new platform is built with operability in mind from day one.
• Provide the VP with a clear legacy-to-modern transition roadmap and cost picture, including remediation spend optimization.
• Manage the full lifecycle of contracts for tooling and vendors, including renewals and cost exposure.
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance to reflect Operations capacity and cost realities in client commitments.
