Job summary

KoBold Metals is seeking a Senior Operations Data Analyst to own data systems end-to-end, collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and geologists. You will manage data models, ETL processes, APIs, and application support in a fast-growing, remote-first environment.

You will mentor junior analysts, coordinate with Mingomba and field teams, and travel to exploration sites as needed, helping turn data into actionable mineral exploration insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data operations owning production systems.
• Strong SQL and data modeling (PostgreSQL).
• Proven ETL and API integration experience.
• Experience with AI (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) preferred.
• Knowledge of dbt and cloud tooling (AWS/S3) or geospatial data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate data models, ETL/API integrations, and app support.
• Platform maintenance and data quality, including OPSDB stewardship and alerting.
• Governance and technical debt tasks like RBAC and dbt semantic layer.
• Mingomba support and cross-functional mentorship with procurement andInventory.
