Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer, data scientist or ML engineer.
• Proficiency with ML concepts including traditional and deep learning.
• Experience building production-quality data processing solutions or tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain foundational scientific computing libraries.
• Integrate third-party and domain-specific tooling into cohesive pipelines.
• Build tooling to accelerate ML progress and prototyping in notebooks.
• Debug across boundaries and ensure robust, scalable pipelines.
• Apply and coach others in engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists, geoscientists and engineers to modernize the stack.
• Travel occasionally to exploration sites to observe impact and drive new tech.
