Job summary

Uplinq, the AI-powered bookkeeping and tax automation platform, is hiring a Senior Onboarding Accounting Specialist to be the first point of contact for new clients. You will guide them through system setup, data clean-up, and activations, handling a high-volume, high-touch onboarding portfolio with emphasis on clear communication and accountability.

You’ll run daily client meetings, configure QuickBooks Online integrations, align proposals with client needs, manage timelines, troubleshoot data

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a client-facing accounting or onboarding role.
• 6+ years of daily QuickBooks Online use.
• Experience managing 25+ active client relationships at once.
• Strong working knowledge of cash- and accrual-based accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily client meetings to gather financial data and build trust.
• Set up and configure Uplinq and QuickBooks Online accounts, including integrations.
• Flag scope or pricing mismatches early and communicate with sales and client.
• Manage high volume onboarding timelines and deliverables.
• Troubleshoot setup and data issues with accounting judgment.
• Find workarounds to keep onboarding moving and avoid stalls.
• Collaborate with Sales, Initialization, Accounting, and Tax teams to ensure smooth handoffs.
