Job summary

American Accounting Association seeks a Staff Accountant – Client Onboarding for a fully remote, early-career consultant role. You will standardize new clients' QuickBooks Online files to establish a solid financial foundation and support ongoing client relationships.

You will reconcile accounts, prepare adjusting entries, and assist with software integrations while coordinating with the Implementation Manager and internal accounting team.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and reconciliations.
• Experience with payroll, accrual accounting, and month-end close.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new clients by cleaning and standardizing QuickBooks Online files.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans and balance sheet items.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries for accruals, payroll, and depreciation.
• Assist in software integrations and project communications with clients.
