Job summary

Rehmann is hiring a Client Accounting Onboarding Specialist to lead the onboarding, implementation, and transformation of client accounting operations from discovery through transition. You will partner with clients to assess current processes, design practical solutions, and guide successful transitions into long-term support models.

You will collaborate with internal teams to develop scalable workflows, training resources, and documentation while staying current on automation and technology

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, consulting, business operations, project management, implementation services, process improvement, or related fields.
• Understanding of accounting operations and business processes.
• Experience leading projects, initiatives, or client engagements involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience helping organizations navigate operational change and process improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead client onboarding, implementation, and operational improvement engagements from discovery through transition.
• Partner with clients to assess current processes, identify opportunities, and develop solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, and scalability.
• Evaluate accounting and operational workflows and recommend improvements that support stronger business outcomes.
• Manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, stakeholder communication, and implementation activities.
• Facilitate discovery meetings, planning sessions, training workshops, and project updates.
• Help clients adopt new processes, technologies, and ways of working that support long-term success.
• Collaborate with internal professionals and external partners to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
• Develop implementation plans, workflow documentation, process maps, and training resources.
• Provide proactive recommendations that improve operational effectiveness, support growth initiatives, and reduce process inefficiencies.
• Identify opportunities to connect clients with additional Rehmann services and specialists that support their evolving needs.
• Contribute to the development of implementation methodologies, best practices, and scalable service offerings.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies, process improvement strategies, and industry trends that can create additional value for clients.
