Job summary

e2E, LLC is seeking an Accounting Consultant to lead client onboarding for our accounting services in the Kansas City area. You will coordinate onboarding tasks, map ledgers, and ensure smooth transitions from onboarding to the accounting team.

The role requires 6+ years in accounting, QuickBooks Online proficiency, and strong communication skills to manage client relationships and internal operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required; CPA preferred.
• Six or more years in accounting or financial operations.
• Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations, AP/AR, payroll, monthly close, and financial statements.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online; Ramp experience is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine a scalable client onboarding process for e2E.
• Create and manage onboarding activities, serving as contact for onboarding tasks.
• Review prospect notes to understand client goals and onboarding requirements.
• Develop onboarding timelines, schedules, and agendas; monitor SLAs.
• Communicate status, risks, and changes to leadership and onboarding team.
• Coordinate payroll setup activities and payroll provider transitions.
• Perform GL mapping and ensure alignment with accounting standards.
• Draft onboarding checklists and manuals using established templates.
• Facilitate handoff from onboarding to internal accounting team.
• Pursue continuous improvement to onboarding workflows and efficiency.
