Job summary

Humana Inc. is building a new AI & Offensive Tooling capability inside our Offensive Security organization, and we’re looking for a senior engineer who can both build it and use it.

As Senior Offensive Security Engineer, AI-Driven Red Team & Tooling, you’ll build the AI and agentic tooling that makes our offensive operations faster and broader, then prove it where it counts, on real penetration tests, purple-team exercises, and red-team operations.

Qualifications

• Offensive operations experience in roles such as Red Team, Penetration Testing, Purple Team, or Bug Bounty.
• Production Python engineering—building and operating real tooling.
• Hands-on designing, building, or operating AI agents or LLM applications.
• Experience testing AI/ML systems: prompt injection, jailbreaking, adversarial techniques.
• Production cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic offensive tooling: production-ready software and AI agents with tool-calling and orchestration.
• Run penetration tests across network, web, and cloud environments using the tooling you build.
• Run purple-team exercises to validate defensive controls and assess detections.
• Run red-team operations and evaluate enterprise AI, including LLM-powered products and RAG pipelines.
