Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Network Manager to lead a broad Network Engineering organization spanning on‑prem & cloud networking.

You will guide routing, switching, security, and observability teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable services for government and enterprise clients. You will manage staffing, mentor engineers, drive automation, and coordinate with PMs and security teams to meet program milestones and SLAs.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of progressive enterprise network engineering and operations experience
• US Citizenship required
• Must be able to obtain Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead the general Network Engineering team responsible for enterprise routing and switching, cloud networking, network security, visibility, and monitoring
• Own operational delivery, service health, and continuous improvement across the network domain
• Provide strong people leadership: coaching, performance management, and career development
• Evaluate and adopt new networking, cloud, and observability technologies to improve reliability and security
• Coordinate architecture decisions and major incidents with senior engineers
• Foster cross‑domain collaboration with PM, security, cloud, and other service tower leads
• Drive capacity planning, resource forecasting, and investments for network delivery
• Ensure documentation, runbooks, and audit readiness are maintained
