Job summary
Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking a Sr. Resident Engineer to join the Client Management division of the Advanced Services team.
The role is focused on break/fix activities, with deep expertise in Junos configurations and network design to support a single customer. You will serve as the primary technical contact, working with customer production equipment and driving rapid restoration of network assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electrical, or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 10 years of experience in networking engineering.
- Expert level knowledge in Tier 1 ISP routing with MPLS/IS-IS/BGP/VPN and related networking concepts.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the HPE product subject matter expert in networking technologies and customer design/troubleshooting guidance.
- Manage relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on engineering design and development.
- Review designs and activities for compliance with guidelines and provide feedback to improve product quality.
- Provide engineering leadership and mentoring to staff and drive adoption of new technologies.
