Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior .NET / SQL Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise apps with emphasis on SQL Server, XML/XSD, and modern web tech. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, DevOps, and production support to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Responsibilities include building T-SQL procedures, leading XSD migrations, Angular front-ends and Web API/WCF back-ends, gathering requirements, managing deployments, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in SQL Server and T-SQL for stored procedures and performance tuning.
• XML data types, XQuery/XPath, and XSD design/validation experience.
• C#/.NET Framework including WCF and Web API development.
• Angular (v15+) and TypeScript proficiency.
• Git/GitHub workflows, CI/CD, and Jira Agile delivery.
• Azure IaaS environment support and release/change management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize T-SQL stored procedures for XML data parsing and transformation.
• Lead XSD migration projects and related WCF/Web API changes.
• Develop Angular front-end features and backend Web API/WCF components in .NET.
• Gather requirements and translate them into database designs and technical solutions.
• Prepare deployment change requests and validated scripts for production data changes.
• Collaborate with SRE/DevOps to maintain GitHub CI/CD pipelines and Azure patching.
• Remediate security issues with Snyk and maintain dependencies.
• Create architecture, design, implementation, and operational documentation.
• Develop and execute unit tests using MSTest and support QA activities.
