Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior .NET/SQL Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications with emphasis on SQL Server, XML/XSD processing, .NET technologies, and modern web development.

You will work with stakeholders, DevOps, and production support to deliver scalable, secure solutions, lead XML/XSD parsing, WCF/Web API integrations, Angular front-ends, and CI/CD pipelines in Azure IaaS environments.

Formación

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL development, performance tuning, and error handling.
• Proven experience with XML data types, XQuery/XPath, and XSD validation design.
• Strong background in C# and .NET Framework development, including WCF Services and ASP.NET Web API.
• Experience building modern web apps using Angular and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of Git/GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile Jira processes.
• Experience deploying in Azure IaaS and participating in release/change management.
• Knowledge of application security best practices and vulnerability remediation (e.g., Snyk).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and optimize complex T-SQL stored procedures that parse, validate, and transform XML data against XSD schemas.
• Lead XML/XSD migration initiatives, including changes to WCF services and Web API integrations.
• Develop and maintain Angular front-end features and Web API/WCF back-end components within a .NET Framework environment.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions and database designs.
• Prepare and manage change requests for deployments, including validated scripts for production data corrections.
• Partner with SRE and DevOps teams to build and maintain GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines and support Azure IaaS patching.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities identified through Snyk and maintain current framework dependencies.
• Create and maintain architecture, design, implementation, and operational documentation.
• Develop and execute unit tests using MSTest and support QA activities.
