Carrier is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to design, build, and improve customer-facing mobile capabilities across the Residential platform. You will lead hands-on development for iOS and Android, ensuring quality, performance, and reliable cloud integration.

The role requires 7+ years in software engineering, 4+ years shipping mobile apps, strong React Native and TypeScript skills, and collaboration with backend, cloud, product, design, QA, and support during US business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a hard science.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years building and shipping production mobile apps on iOS and Android.
• 3+ years React Native and TypeScript experience.
• 2+ years integrating mobile apps with REST/GraphQL backends.
• 2+ years authentication, token lifecycle, and secure sessions.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain mobile features across iOS and Android.
• Lead React Native and TypeScript mobile work in a shared codebase.
• Integrate with REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend services.
• Contribute to backend‑facing work and API design.
• Improve app performance, stability, and release quality.
• Help define mobile architecture and state management.
• Troubleshoot issues across mobile, API, and cloud boundaries.
• Contribute to CI/CD, app store delivery, and secure practices.
• Partner with cloud engineering, product, UX, QA, and support.
• Mentor junior engineers and review code.
