Job summary

BetMGM LLC is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to own the ML platform from trained models to production endpoints. You will manage latency, cost, and reliability across batch and real-time paths on AWS and Snowflake, building a robust feature store and CI/CD for ML with model registries and drift monitoring.

You will partner with data scientists and engineers to implement champion/challenger, canary releases, and comprehensive postmortems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping software in production (Python, Docker, Kubernetes or ECS) and on-call.
• 3+ years operating ML in production with latency/cost budgets and runbooks.
• AWS SageMaker experience including Training, Endpoints, Batch Transform, and Pipelines.
• Snowflake fluency with Snowpark ML, Cortex, and batch scoring.
• IaC experience with Terraform for ML pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Stand up and operate BetMGM's ML platform on AWS and Snowflake with Terraform.
• Build self-service scaffolds for end-to-end model deployment, CI, drift monitoring and pre-baked connectivity.
• Design batch scoring pipelines with explicit freshness and cost SLAs.
• Design real-time inference paths with sub-100ms latency budgets and graceful degradation.
• Own feature store with online/offline parity and monitoring.
• Build CI/CD for ML including model registry, retraining triggers and lineage.
• Implement champion/challenger, shadow deployments and canary releases.
• Set up drift detection, data quality and model monitoring with paging to humans.
• Own ML incident response with postmortems and runbooks.
• Integrate LLM APIs into production paths for RAG workflows.
