Job summary

BetMGM is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to own the production ML platform, deliver end-to-end model workflows, and ensure latency, cost, and reliability budgets are met. You will enable data scientists and ML engineers with scalable features, registries, and drift monitoring on AWS and Snowflake.

The role emphasizes a software‑engineering‑first approach, includes CI/CD for ML, and may involve GenAI integration. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping software in production with Python, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and distributed systems debugging.
• 3+ years operating ML in production with latency and cost budgets and a runbook.
• AWS SageMaker depth (Training, Endpoints, Batch Transform, Model Registry, Pipelines) plus related services.
• Snowflake fluency (Snowpark ML, Cortex, batch scoring) and RBAC for ML workloads.
• IaC for ML (Terraform + SageMaker Pipelines) and no manual production deployments.
• Experience with feature stores (SageMaker, Tecton or Feast) and ownership of online/offline parity.

Responsibilities

• Stand up and operate BetMGM’s ML platform on AWS and Snowflake with Terraform‑managed infra.
• Build self‑service templates with CI, drift monitoring, alerting, and Snowflake connectivity.
• Design and run batch and real‑time inference paths with explicit latency and cost targets.
• Own feature store parity and champion/challenger, shadow deployments and canary releases.
• Implement ML CI/CD: model registry, retraining triggers, lineage from features to live models.
• Stand up drift and data quality monitoring with paging to on‑call engineers.
• Collaborate with data engineers and scientists; coordinate with partners on shared standards.
