Job summary

BetMGM is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to own the production ML platform—from feature store to model deployment. You’ll manage SageMaker and Snowflake-based pipelines, applying IaC, CI/CD, and observability to ensure reliable, scalable AI in production.

You’ll collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and partners to deliver end-to-end ML capabilities, maintain latency budgets, and drive continuous improvement in model monitoring and deployment patterns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping software in production with Python, Docker, Kubernetes or ECS and CI/CD
• 3+ years operating ML in production with latency and cost budgets
• AWS SageMaker experience across Training, Endpoints, Batch Transform, and Pipelines
• Snowflake/ML tooling experience including Snowpark ML or Cortex

Responsibilities

• Stand up and operate BetMGM’s ML platform on AWS and Snowflake with Terraform-managed infra.
• Build self-service templates for end-to-end model deployment and monitoring.
• Design and run batch scoring pipelines with explicit freshness and cost SLAs.
• Design and operate real-time inference paths with sub-100ms latency targets.
• Own feature store parity and manage training-serving skew as incidents.
• Implement champion/challenger, shadow deployments, and canary releases.
• Set up drift detection, data quality, and model performance monitoring with paging.
• Lead cost optimization: endpoint sizing, batching, and autoscaling.
• Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to define interfaces and standards.
