Qualifications

• 6 years of progressively responsible experience in employee benefits underwriting with 3–5 years underwriting for Life, Short-term Disability (STD), and Long-term Disability (LTD).
• Strong proficiency in underwriting guidelines, procedures, contract provisions, and state insurance statutes.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex risk and make sound, strategic decisions.
• Experience mentoring or supporting the development of other underwriters.
• Familiarity with mid‑market or regional account underwriting environments.
