Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years of professional coding experience.
• CCS or CPC certification required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT codes.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Apply coding conventions to patient encounters.
• Abstract diagnoses and procedures from physician records.
• Review and correct coding errors in the EHR.
