Remote nationwide with standard hours, requiring CPC or RHIT/RHIA credentials and 3+ years of Pro-Fee coding experience. Strong ICD-10-CM/CPT knowledge is essential to guide documentation quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Pro-Fee coding experience across multiple specialties.
• Advanced ICD-10-CM, CPT, Modifiers & HCPCS knowledge.
• Strong medical terminology, anatomy and physiology understanding.

Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate medical codes from clinical documentation.
• Identify unclear documentation and generate queries.
• Follow up with providers on responses to queries.
• Apply coding guidelines to code determinations.
• Manage multiple tasks to meet productivity standards.
• Educate others to improve coding quality.
