Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years working in a managed care healthcare system or health plan.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience in large initiatives.
• 2+ years of Change Management experience.
• Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications, and processes.
• Experience in Medicaid and/or Medicare.
• Experience in Claims Lifecycle Initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, monitor, and oversee complex projects using cross-functional teams to meet defined requirements and objectives.
• Assist in training and perform duties as the dedicated Project Manager.
• Manage full project life cycle: assess requirements, create plans, allocate resources, manage budget, drive execution, deployment and closure.
• Maintain detailed project documentation including minutes, action items, issues lists, plans, and risk management.
• Provide leadership and communicate project status to stakeholders and external agencies.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings to meet stakeholder expectations and company objectives.
• Provide knowledge across multiple business and technical areas.
• Monitor creation of deliverables to ensure quality standards including docs, tests, training, and operations docs.
• Provide on-site leadership to motivate team members to hit milestones.
• Work creatively and analytically in problem solving, demonstrating teamwork and excellence.
• Report project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues to leadership.
