Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Lead to review release packages, quote new services, and drive DFM/DFA improvements across US and GCC teams. You will mentor engineers, define best practices, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years in manufacturing engineering, costing, DFM, or custom hardware.
• Hands-on with sheet metal fabrication, urethane casting, and injection molding.
• Experience with CNC machining and 3D printing.
• Strong GD&T and tolerancing knowledge; familiar with metals and plastics.
• Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating with offshore or GCC teams.
• Ability to lead through influence and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Remote-work capability with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Experience in regulated environments (AS9100, ISO 13485) is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering release packages, CAD models, drawings, parts lists, and docs to assess feasibility, scope, requirements, and lead times.
• Develop accurate quotes by combining engineering analysis with platform recommendations and coordinating with external suppliers.
• Create cost calculators to support in-house quoting for new services.
• Provide DFM and DFA recommendations to improve designs and reduce production costs.
• Share technical feedback with the quoting software team to improve automated quoting accuracy.
• Generate high-quality 2D drawings per ANSI/ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Coach and mentor engineers across the U.S. and GCC teams.
• Establish, document, and promote engineering best practices with peer reviews and quality checks.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives by influencing engineering, sourcing, sales, quality, and software without direct reporting authority.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and regional partners on shared initiatives.
• Contribute to the organization’s QMS and maintain applicable quality standards.
