Job summary

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) seeks a Manager for University Information Systems Support to lead a skilled UIS team, oversee critical enterprise modules, and drive architecture, development, and testing of custom processes and reporting. You will coordinate upgrades, optimize operations, and plan for future needs in collaboration with the Director.

Qualifications include extensive IT leadership in higher education, deep ERP experience (Banner/Oracle E-Business Suite), and

Qualifications

11 years of progressively more responsible work experience in Information Technology.
11 years of experience working with ERP software systems such as Banner or Oracle E-Business Suite.
11 years of experience writing complex PL/SQL programs in a business environment.
9 years of experience designing relational database objects for applications.
9 years of experience tuning PL/SQL programs on large databases for optimal performance.
9 years of analysis, design, development and testing of complex processes and reports.
9 years working with business desktop applications (Word, Excel, MS Query, Access, Quest, etc).
5 years of direct management/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise UIS Support Programmer/Analyst staff and contribute to design, development, testing, and support of custom processes and reporting.
Manage multiple projects and oversee day-to-day operations of the UIS Support Programmer/Analyst staff across Banner modules.
Develop and promote best practices in design, development, testing, documentation, and support of enterprise information systems.
