Job summary

University of Georgia is seeking an Applications Analyst Principal to lead the Student Information Systems team within EITS. The role focuses on senior-level administration, implementation, maintenance, and integration of Banner-related systems, ODS, and related tools.

You will collaborate with vendors and campus staff to ensure reliable operations. The position requires advanced PL/SQL, SQL, UNIX skills, and experience with Ellucian Banner and related software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent and 8 years of professional experience.
• Experience administering Banner and SIS systems in a higher education environment.
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, UNIX and Oracle databases.

Responsibilities

• Administer Banner-related or integrated systems including batch processing and ODS.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot product issues and coordinate with Ellucian AMS for upgrades.
• Provide senior-level maintenance, security, and provisioning for SIS-related accounts and roles.
• Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts and SQL packages; implement new system integrations.
• Lead, mentor, and train staff; manage multiple projects with vendors and stakeholders.
