Job summary

Imprivata is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for validating new features, maintenance, and integration across platforms via manual and automated testing. You will mentor colleagues, shape QA standards, and collaborate with product teams to ensure verifiable requirements.

Responsibilities include developing test plans, tracking metrics, and driving process improvements while staying current with testing technologies. Some telecommuting is allowed within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field and 3 years of QA experience.
• Experience testing mobile applications (iOS/Android) and desktop platforms (Windows/MacOS/Linux).
• Proficiency with white box and black box testing in Agile environments.
• Experience in virtual environments including VMware and Citrix.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Quality Engineers to verify new features, maintenance, and integration.
• Define and implement QA best practices and process improvements.
• Create and update test plans and test cases; ensure requirements are verifiable.
• Mentor team members and track SMART goals for performance.
