Job summary

Prenuvo is seeking a Senior QA Engineer I to join our remote-friendly team. You’ll own quality across providers’ tools, patient workflows, and diagnostic reporting, shaping testing strategy from the ground up.

Collaborate with product, design and development, implement automated and manual tests, and help raise product quality while aligning with PCI/health data norms and accessibility standards. Preference for PST hours to sync with CA team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software QA experience.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test design techniques and practical implementation.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, APIs.
• Experience testing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Awareness of WCAG accessibility testing and tool usage.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).
• Experience with bug tracking systems (JIRA).
• Strong analytical and communication skills; collaborative mindset.
• BS degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and developers to shape quality from the ground up.
• Analyze and translate requirements into test strategies and plans.
• Create, execute, and maintain test documentation and plans.
• Perform manual and automated testing of web apps: exploratory, functional, regression, UI.
• Test REST and GraphQL APIs for robustness and correctness.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track quality issues.
• Lead root cause analysis with developers to accelerate fixes.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration and accessibility testing.
