Job summary

Centene Corporation seeks a driven professional to oversee cost recovery and cost containment initiatives across Health Plans. You will manage vendors, collaborate with plans to target savings, and streamline processes to reduce costs while presenting actionable insights to Senior Management.

With a focus on regulatory awareness and cross-department collaboration, you will help optimize financial performance and support a broad range of health plan initiatives with a data-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting/finance/related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of data analysis, finance or accounting experience.
• Experience with government programs auditing and compliance monitoring preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost recovery and cost containment initiatives for Health Plan programs.
• Manage internal and external vendors for cost avoidance and recovery efforts.
• Partner with health plans to identify and contain costs with national vendors.
• Develop annual budget and targets for national vendors and support achievement.
• Evaluate and streamline processes to reduce costs and present trends to Senior Management.
• Assist health plans in understanding rules, regulations and processes around cost recovery.
