Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a seasoned Senior Cost Recovery Analyst to oversee and monitor performance of cost recovery and cost containment initiatives across health plans. You will manage internal and external vendors, partner with plans to identify savings, and develop annual budgets with targets to drive cost reductions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field with 6+ years in data analysis, finance, or accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 6+ years in data analysis, finance or accounting.
• Experience with government programs auditing and compliance monitoring preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal and external cost recovery initiatives.
• Partner with health plans to identify and contain costs with national vendors.
• Develop annual budgets and targets for national vendors to achieve savings.
• Evaluate and streamline processes to reduce costs.
• Present trends and cost containment opportunities and assist with action plans.
• Assist health plans in understanding rules around cost recovery.
• Monitor other departments’ performance for cost recovery.
• Compile and present reporting packages for Senior Management on cost avoidance and recovery.
• Performs other duties as assigned and adheres to policies.
