Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Senior Manager, Learning Design & Innovation to lead a growing Instructional Design team and elevate learning solutions across the organization. You will drive AI-enabled approaches, simulations, and practice-based learning while aligning with business outcomes and learner needs.

You will partner with Learning Technology, Optimization, and stakeholders to translate strategy into scalable, high-quality learning experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, learning design, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years in learning and development or instructional design.
• 3+ years of people leadership or coaching experience.
• Experience designing large-scale learning initiatives from discovery to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Instructional Design team with coaching, performance management, and growth opportunities.
• Oversee design and development of learning solutions from discovery through implementation, ensuring standards and accessibility.
• Translate learning strategy into team priorities, standards, and development expectations.
• Lead AI-enabled learning solutions and efficiencies with scalable workflows and tools.
• Advance innovative learning approaches including simulations, gamification, and rapid development.
• Manage pilots, proofs of concept, and scale successful innovations across L&D.
• Collaborate with Learning Technology, Optimization, and business stakeholders to align solutions with outcomes.
• Serve as a senior learning design partner, advising on complex initiatives and performance needs.
