Job summary

Hagerty is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Controls Owner to lead the end-to-end controls framework for our insurance technology platform. You will own control design, documentation, testing, and ongoing monitoring across policy administration, billing, underwriting, and claims workflows.

You will coordinate with IT, compliance, and finance to ensure risk gaps are remediated and audit readiness is maintained, while aligning with regulatory and policy requirements in a dynamic, hybrid work

Qualifications

• This role requires proven experience in business controls and governance across insurance operations.
• Ability to translate complex processes into auditable control documentation.
• Strong written communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and document end-to-end controls framework for insurance platform.
• Govern processes with RACI, narratives, and design integration.
• Lead risk and control self-assessments and remediation plans.
• Serve as liaison for internal/external audits and regulatory readiness.
• Participate in platform change management and ensure updated controls.
