Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a seasoned senior leader to drive control testing and documentation for the Personal Wealth division, shaping a scalable risk and control function. You will lead testing, documentation, and select external audit examinations while partnering with second line of defense and senior leadership.

You will guide cross-functional teams, promote control automation, and embed clear ownership across business units.

Qualifications

• Minimum twelve years of related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• Professional certifications (CPA, COSO, CIA, CISA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the control testing and documentation strategy across Personal Wealth including control ownership, assurance activities (manual and automated).
• Champion Control Automation and emerging technologies to strengthen control execution and reduce risk.
• Define and embed Control Accountability across business teams, ensuring clarity of ownership and control execution.
• Engagement with the RCSA program to identify and prioritize control documentation and testing.
• Deliver robust reporting and insights on control health and risk posture to senior leaders, enabling data driven decision making.
