Job summary

Hagerty seeks a Senior Manager, Business Controls Owner to lead end-to-end controls for our insurance platform. You will partner across IT, compliance, finance, and operations to embed controls in design, manage RCSAs, and drive remediation with clear ownership.

You will support internal and external audits, ensure regulatory readiness, and guide change management while aligning controls with policyholder service and claims outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in business controls, risk, internal audit, or insurance governance.
• Direct experience in an insurance carrier, MGA, or program administrator preferred.
• Familiar with SOX, NAIC rules, or state insurance regs.
• Ability to translate control design into business outcomes including service quality.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end controls framework for insurance platform.
• Develop process governance with RACI, narratives, and documentation.
• Lead risk and control self-assessments and remediation planning.
• Serve as liaison for audits and regulatory examinations.
• Participate in platform change management and maintain controls inventory.
