Job summary

Cherry Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Data & Analytics Engineering to own how data moves through the organization — from ingestion to analytics.

You will build and lead a 2-3 person core team with rapid expansion to 6-8 engineers within a year, ensuring governance, security, and scalable self-service analytics for stakeholders across Finance, Risk, and Operations. Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering and/or analytics engineering with people management experience.
• Proven track record owning end-to-end data platform architecture from ingestion to consumption.
• Experience as product owner/liaison for technical platform tools, balancing feature requests with reliability.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of Analytics Engineers and Data Engineers, setting technical standards.
• Own architecture and strategy for data ingestion, warehouse modeling, and analytics layer (dbt, semantic layer, marts).
• Define governance/security frameworks, RBAC, PII/PHI handling, masking, tokenization.
