Job summary

Serve Robotics seeks a senior leader to own data engineering and analytics, building and guiding a team of Sr. Data/Analytics Engineers.

You will define the analytics roadmap, manage data platforms, and deliver trusted dashboards for cross-functional decision-making across product, operations, finance, sales, and marketing. You will champion self-service analytics, data governance, and security, ensuring scalable data infrastructure and insights while aligning with business goals and regulatory

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in data engineering and analytics including 2+ years leading teams of Sr. Data/Analytics Engineers.
• Proven experience managing data engineering, analytics engineering, BI, or analytics teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and roadmap planning.
• Deep understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration, data modeling, BI platforms, semantic layers, and data quality practices.
• Hands-on experience with modern data stacks and tools listed above.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Team: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data and analytics engineers, including hiring and performance management.
• Technical Leadership: Define the data engineering and analytics roadmap aligned with company goals.
• Data Platform Ownership: Oversee design, reliability, scalability, governance of data infra (warehouses, lakes, ETL/ELT, orchestration, semantic layers, BI tooling).
• Analytics Delivery: Ensure dashboards, metrics, and ad hoc analysis for product, operations, finance, sales, marketing, and leadership.
• Empowering Self-Service: Build trusted datasets and enable access via AI-powered analytics interfaces.
• Data Quality and Governance: Establish standards for data accuracy, lineage, privacy, security and compliance.
