Job summary

GiveDirectly is hiring a Senior Manager for Emergency Cash Delivery to scale and optimize rapid-response operations in the United States. You will mentor Delivery Managers, oversee surge rosters, and shape strategic direction for the Delivery team under the Delivery Director.

The role emphasizes building capacity, improving response systems, and coordinating with fundraising and field teams while maintaining high standards of program quality and donor engagement.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in problem solving, team management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in humanitarian or emergency settings preferred.
• Ability to mentor and coach teams.
• Strong analytical and prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Delivery Managers and surge roster members.
• Evaluate learning opportunities and KPIs for the team.
• Ensure quality assurance across responses and operations.
• Define and track operational efficiency metrics.
• During responses, serve in an assigned functional role as directed by the Delivery Director.
