The role oversees day-to-day operations of a certification program, leads a team, and collaborates with cross-functional departments to drive performance. This position offers a remote work arrangement with monthly in-person meetings in the Chicagoland area, requires residence in Illinois, and pays $85,000 to $95,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in certification operations or related field.
• At least 1 year of direct supervisory or people management experience.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data and creating reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with CRM, AMS, LMS, or similar databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team with coaching, performance management, hiring, training, and development.
• Manage daily operations of certification and education programs ensuring high-quality service.
• Oversee certification fulfillment, exam scheduling, credential maintenance, and LMS operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and monitor service levels.
• Coordinate projects, maintain documentation, and support continuous process improvement.
• Review policies and materials for accuracy and consistency across programs.
• Partner with internal departments on product launches and technology enhancements.
• Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve the certification experience.
• Assist with budgeting, reporting, and other operational initiatives as needed.
