Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Manager, AI and HPC Cluster Engineering Enablement to lead a team focused on enabling internal users through strong processes, training, and guidance. This remote role reports to engineering leadership and collaborates across teams to improve workflows for large-scale infrastructure environments.

The role emphasizes onboarding, knowledge sharing, and transparent resource coordination, shaping how engineers access and operate AI and HPC resources at scale.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in high-performance computing, AI infrastructure, or large-scale Linux environments.
• 5+ years in technical leadership or engineering management, mentoring and cross-organizational delivery.
• Practical understanding of Linux clusters, GPU workload scheduling, and large-scale shared storage.
• Experience coordinating engineering requests and managing operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team focused on cluster engineering support and community engagement.
• Develop an internal engineering community through onboarding, workshops, and knowledge sharing.
• Create training and documentation for cluster access and operational procedures.
• Own the request intake and prioritization process, ensuring clarity and transparency.
• Coordinate specialist investigations for complex requests and track progress.
• Partner with engineering teams on resource needs and maintenance communications.
• Transform recurring issues into reusable guidance and proposals for workflow improvements.
