Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a senior engineering manager to lead cluster engineering support within the Applied Systems Engineering group. You will grow the engineering community, create hands‑on training, and handle requests from engineers and supporting teams.

Your leadership will coordinate across architecture, bringup, software, firmware, networking, and datacenter operations to drive efficient, scalable AI/HPC infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in high-performance computing, AI infrastructure, datacenter systems, production engineering, or large-scale Linux environments.
• Experience coordinating engineering requests, support queues, or operational workflows, with prioritization and ownership.
• Strong ability to translate complex infrastructure concepts into clear documentation and training for engineers at different levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team dedicated to cluster engineering support, community involvement, training, and engineering requests.
• Develop a connected internal engineering community through onboarding, office hours, workshops, and knowledge sharing.
• Create practical training and documentation for cluster access, workload submission, GPU resource scheduling, shared storage, and operational procedures.
• Own the intake and prioritization process: clarify needs, capture impact, identify dependencies, maintain a transparent queue.
• Coordinate requests that require specialist investigation and connect requesters with technical owners.
• Partner with cluster operations and engineering teams on access, allocations, maintenance communications, and resource planning.
• Turn recurring questions into reusable guidance and self-service tools.
• Use metrics to improve support quality and communicate priorities and capacity needs.
