Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years managing engineering teams.
• Hands-on depth in Kubernetes, service mesh, networking (DNS, TLS, HTTP proxies), and a major public cloud.
• Ability to judge AI-generated output and assess prompts.
• Experience with AI multi-agent or retrieval-augmented systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of platform engineers, building a culture of ownership and accountability.
• Set the technical vision and roadmap for Service Mesh and Identity, ensuring reliability and observability at fleet scale.
• Partner with architects and leaders to deliver features and proactively spot issues before they impact customers.
• Incorporate AI tools into daily development, maintaining architectural integrity and security.
