Job summary

Astrana Health is seeking a highly skilled Manager of Advanced Analytics to shape and deliver our analytics strategy. This hands‑on role designs scalable data solutions, builds advanced BI capabilities, and enables actionable insights across risk adjustment, clinical operations, quality, compliance, and cost management.

You will own enterprise analytics roadmaps, lead the development of scalable analytics solutions and dashboards using Databricks and Power BI, enforce data governance, and mentor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, data science, analytics, statistics, or related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in data analytics and engineering, with 2+ years in a technical lead or mentorship role.
• Expertise with modern data stacks including Databricks, SQL, Azure, Power BI, and Python.
• Strong understanding of value-based care analytics, risk adjustment, HEDIS, finance, and claims.
• Experience with healthcare datasets and measures such as HCC, HEDIS, and clinical analytics.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for clinical and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and execution of Astrana Health’s enterprise analytics roadmap aligned with growth and value-based care objectives.
• Lead the development of scalable analytics solutions and BI dashboards using tools such as Databricks and Power BI.
• Implement and maintain data governance and development practices to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and trust.
• Build customized reports and dashboards tailored to functional and executive stakeholders.
• Mentor analysts and engineers, fostering technical excellence and a collaborative team environment.
• Own end-to-end execution of key deliverables including HEDIS/RAF analytics across lines of business.
• Promote best practices in analytics, data engineering, and BI development.
